A big thanks to our sponsors

Previously Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, now known as Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada provides us with funding to administer the Urban Aboriginal Strategy. They have also funded the development and engagement to produce the Saskatchewan Regional Plan to determine the priority areas within the province.

We want to thank the Federated Co-op for sponsoring our 3rd annual Indigenous Youth Leadership Symposium that took place in October 2016.

We have been the successful recipient of the Sask Culture Capacity Building Grant. This will allow the AFCS to conduct our meetings in a more cultural way. Our Board of Directors will learn how to do so at the provincial level and take the knowledge they have learned to their local level.

Department of Justice Canada has allowed us to create Project HOPE. Project HOPE is a network of support groups within Saskatchewan for families of murdered and missing Aboriginal women. Read more on Project HOPE here>
