It is with great sadness and a heavy heart we write to let you know that our long time friend and Senator Maurice J. Blondeau passed away on January 22, 2008 at his home in Lestock, SK with his wife of many years Leona and their children and grandchildren by his side.  He was only 75 years young. Our warmest condolences go out to his family and many friends. Maurice dedicated much of his time and energy to the Friendship Centre Movement at all levels, and will be sorely missed.
